The Angel and the Resurrection of Jesus

 They came  

 They sought,

 And found an angel 

 In bright attire,

 He told them  

 That Jesus is not here 

 That He is risen.

Come, 

See where He lay, 

 Now go and tell His disciples 

 That Jesus is risen 

 From the dead, 

 And still  that message 

 Is still beinbg relayed.

No friend have I 

But the O God  

In the blessed trinity.

No Love have I known 

Except Thee alone

In the blessed trinity.

No protection have I

Beside Thee, 

And of you 

And your angels,

Who Answer from 

And answering to Thee 

O God 

Of the blessed trinity.

No comfort have I 

but Thee O Lord Jesus

From Thee of the blessed trinity

No peace have I 

Besides Thee O God,

Lord Jesus, 

And the Holy Spirit

from all of Thee

Walking a Lonely Road.

There I go, 

Walking walking 

Down a country road

a large and lonely road,

Watching for pitfalls

And the puddles,

(And ahome at the end)

Of that long and lonely road,

And Then I find 

A cross pointing me the way 

The way to eternity, 

For I see upon the cross 

A man who is  dying 

A dying to set me free,

Free from havng to walk 

That country road alone, 

For he died to set me free

From walking that road alone, 

For that lonely road is no longer 

Lonely for me.

For His dying there 

He shed His blood for me, 

And I no longer 

Have to avoid 

The pitfalls and puddles 

On my own,

And theer is no longer 

Any twisting and turning 

For He is there beside me 

My friend who died 

And set me free

And His name is Jesus.

Jesus Jesus 

I love Him so,

For He is straightening out 

The twists and turns

Of that lonely road 

Of my life,

That road that until 

I came upon the cross

Could only lead to dispair 

And death,

Now in Him 

I Have found life

That is eternal.

Though the road now  

Has become straight and narrow, 

Though the pitfalls 

And puddles still be there

He leads me through,

And I know I am safe

In Him,

And His name is Jesus

Jesus Jesus .

He gave His life for me 

And leads me

To Eternity 

And One day

I will be with Him there

The Prince of Peace on Calvary's tree

The Prince of Peace

Died on Calvary's tree 

To set me free.

I ask only 

Of one plea

That He 

Set me free

To serve Him 

Till my life

Grows dim.

To be alive in Him

And live my life

For Him

Till the light of day

Grows dim.

To serve Him 

All my days 

Till the light 

Of life

Grows dim

And takes me home 

To be forever with Him

While on Earth Knowing Your Grace

While on earth

I may know your grace,

And when to heaven

See your face

and worship you 

In a away 

Never could 

While on earth

With all its cares 

And temptations,

Knowing though 

you would see  me through 

Though never seeing your face

But nevertheless 

Knowing  your grace.
